Opposition defends National Assembly walkout over ECN appointment process

Affirmative Repositioning chief whip Vaino Hangula says the opposition’s walkout from parliament was prompted by concerns over a lack of information during the Electoral Commission of Namibia appointment process. He says lawmakers must have access to all relevant documents before voting to ensure appointments are transparent, credible and inspire public confidence.
