Miss Namibia 2026 aims to empower women through entrepreneurship

The winner of the Miss Namibia 2026 crown, Charene Labuschagne, says empowering women through entrepreneurship and connecting them with resources to build sustainable livelihoods will be a key focus during her reign.
Speaking on Desert FM, Labuschagne said her passion for entrepreneurship was inspired by growing up around entrepreneurs and seeing both the opportunities and challenges that come with building a business.
Miss Namibia national director Beaulah Boois-Beukes said Labuschagne stood out among the finalists because of her confidence, authenticity and ability to connect with people, and added that she has the qualities needed to represent Namibia on an international stage.
