Namibian legal practitioner Ketuu Kaura is encouraging patients to understand their legal rights when they believe they have suffered harm due to negligent medical treatment. Speaking on Desert FM, Kaura said medical negligence occurs when healthcare professionals fail to meet the expected standard of care, adding that not every unsuccessful treatment amounts to negligence. He stressed that anyone pursuing legal action must provide sufficient evidence to prove their case in court.
