Gengob’s legacy of dialogue remains vital for Namibia, says biographer

The author of former President Hage Geingob’s biography says dialogue, inclusivity and citizen engagement remain central to Namibia’s future.

Speaking on Desert FM, Dr Audrin Mathe, author of Whispers of Freedom, said the launch of the inaugural Hage Geingob Town Hall Conversation reflects the late president’s belief in open debate and consultation. Mathe said Geingob believed lasting peace and development could only be achieved when all Namibians had a seat at the table and were included in shaping the country’s future.
