Botswana mourns former president Festus Mogae

Botswana journalist and political analyst Thapelo Ndlovu says the mood in Botswana remains sombre following the death of former president Festus Mogae at the age of 86.
Speaking to Desert FM, Ndlovu described Mogae as a principled leader remembered for strong economic management, democratic governance, and Botswana’s response to the HIV and AIDS crisis during his presidency from 1998 to 2008.
