Albert Nicanor on strengthening support for Namibia’s musicians

At the memorial service of the late legendary Namibian reggae musician Ras Sheehama, it was announced that his family would be the very first beneficiaries of an increased N$15,000 payout from the Namibian Society of Composers and Authors of Music  NASCAM. This increase is a significant jump from the previous N$3 000 given to families of deceased artists, marking a notable step in supporting those who have given so much to our country’s cultural and musical legacy.
