GIPF hosts pre-retirement workshop

The Government Institutions Pension Fund (GIPF) is hosting a pre-retirement workshop in Windhoek, which started on Wednesday.
The workshop will provide attendees with information from key stakeholders, such as the Namibia Revenue Agency (Namra) and the Public Service Medical Aid Scheme (Psemas).
It aims to provide all GIPF members between the ages of 50 and 59 the opportunity to receive valuable information on typical fund-related issues.
Edwin Tjiramba, the GIPF’s general manager of marketing and stakeholder engagement, on Wednesday said the event is open for attendance.
“The GIPF strives to ensure that all members receive information that empower members to make informed decisions on their retirement journey, enabling them to experience an enjoyable and loving retirement,” he said.
The workshop, which is taking place at the Namibian Institute of Public Administration and Management, will end on Thursday.
