Mineworkers union calls for stronger safety measures after mine death

The Mineworkers Union of Namibia is calling for stronger safety measures and consistent oversight across the mining sector following the death of employee Phillemon Mwashindange. Union secretary general George Ampweya says existing occupational health and safety measures must be properly implemented to prevent workplace fatalities.
