Informal economy group welcomes new national technical committee

Namibia’s informal economy could be set for greater recognition as a new national technical committee prepares to drive its institutionalisation. The Dynamic Informal Traders Association says formalisation must go beyond taxation and focus on inclusion, protection, infrastructure and opportunities for millions who depend on the sector.
