Swapo Women’s Council pushes for monthly pay for district coordinators

The Swapo Women’s Council is proposing monthly remuneration for its 121 district coordinators, saying the current system is unfair and discourages grassroots leaders. The proposal will be considered ahead of the council’s ninth congress, scheduled for 9 to 11 December at Katima Mulilo.
