IPPR urges parliament to speed up lawmaking amid growing backlog

The Institute for Public Policy Research is warning that delays in passing and implementing laws could weaken governance, public trust and investor confidence in Namibia. Research director Graham Hopwood says parliament should consider longer sitting hours and more meeting days to clear the growing backlog of legislation.
