Zambia mourns former vice president Guy Scott

Zambia is mourning the death of former vice president Guy Scott, who died at age 82.

President Hakainde Hichilema has announced that Scott will be accorded a state funeral in recognition of his service to the nation.

Zambian journalist Nelson Zulu says the country has responded with widespread mourning across political and generational lines.
