A legal dispute is unfolding in a high-profile terrorism case before Namibia’s High Court, as the defence opposes an application to hold part of the trial behind closed doors.
The state wants the key testimony, believed to involve a foreign law enforcement witness, to be heard in camera. However, defence lawyer Joas Nyemwatya argues that this could undermine transparency and the accused’s right to a fair trial.
