Church opens winter shelter for homeless as community steps in to help

A church in Namibia is offering hope and warmth to vulnerable people this winter by opening a temporary night shelter for the homeless.
The Commercial Baptist Church has converted part of its premises to accommodate up to 35 people, providing separate spaces for men and women, as well as meals and basic amenities.
Although the shelter charges a small fee, Pastor Kenneth Linen says no one is turned away if they cannot afford to pay, thanks to strong support from the community.
