Social activist and ǀKhomanin Landless Association steering committee member Shaun Gariseb says members of the ǀKhomanin community are demanding greater accountability and transparency from chief Gaos-Juliaan Gawanas and the traditional authority. Gariseb claims concerns over land allocation, financial reporting and governance have fueled growing calls for leadership change within the community.
