Windhoek intensifies removal of illegal street vendors

The City of Windhoek has stepped up operations to remove street vendors trading in undesignated high-traffic areas, saying the move is aimed at improving order, safety and cleanliness in the capital.
Speaking to Desert FM, spokesperson Lydia Amutenya addressed concerns about the impact on informal traders who rely on these spaces for their livelihoods.
