Brothers boost sport tourism through running

OVER 800 participants from Namibia entered this year’s Two Oceans Marathon, while domestic running events are attracting both local and international competitors. These travels to and from the country increasingly showcase Namibia as a sport tourism hub. Recently, brothers Silas and Andreas Iipumbu travelled to the United States to compete in the Chicago Marathon. They turned a personal challenge into an opportunity to highlight Namibia’s growing running culture and its promise as a sport tourism destination. They speak to Desert FM
