Vice president Lucia Witbooi recently handed over former Baster captain Hans Diergaardt’s house at Rehoboth to the Baster community.
Hardap governor Riaan McNab has described the handover as correcting historical injustices, while others are calling it a contradiction by the government. United People’s Movement president Jan van Wyk speaks to Desert FM on the issue.
