Canadian oil company ReconAfrica is once again in the spotlight  as a new report by the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Natural Resources found that the company began exploration in the Okavango Basin without key permits or leaseholds. Some are calling this a blatant disregard for Namibia’s laws and communities.
