Namibians are currently glued onto a corruption investigation that has already led to the arrest of eight high-profile individuals and could soon implicate more. At the centre of this web is a massive N$480-million claim by Enercon Namibia against the Ministry of Defence, following a now-cancelled fuel supply contract.

Allegations suggest that despite alleged delivery failures, a prior legal opinion by the attorney general led to the ministry paying N$60 million to Enercon earlier this year.
