KAARONDA ON UPCOMING LAND BILL

Agriculture minister Inge Zaamwani‑Kamwi announced that she will table the Land Bill in September this year  with the aims to consolidate Namibia’s land laws, strengthen communal land governance and prohibit foreign acquisition of agricultural land. This is seen as a move intended to promote equitable access for the landless while advancing the outcomes of the 2018 National Land Conference.  SWANU president and MP, Mr Evalistus Kaaronda shares his thoughts with Desert FM.
