After nearly a decade in office, Omusati governor Erginus Endjala recently made headlines after publicly hinting at retirement during a gala dinner at the Olufuko Festival, stating: “This may be my last time speaking to you as your governor.”
With his term officially extended until 20 June, the remarks sparked widespread speculation about whether this marks the end of his tenure — or simply a personal reflection. The governor has since said he was misquoted.
