The Namibian Competition Commission Approves 13 Mergers at May 2025 Meeting
The Namibian Competition Commission (the Commission) has approved a total of 13 mergers at its meeting held on 8 May 2025. These transactions were assessed and cleared in accordance with Chapter 4 of the Competition Act No. 2 of 2003.
Among the notable mergers was a transaction involving JD Financial Services Proprietary Limited, which acquired the retail furniture division (OK Furniture) of OK Bazaars (Namibia) Limited, along with all associated claims, rights, title, and interests under the Furniture Debtors Book.
