On Monday the Namibia police confirmed the arrest of an officer who allegedly shot and killed a truck driver at Onhuno in the Ohangwena region in the early hours of morning.
In Windhoek Namibia police deputy commissioner Kauna Shikwambi confirmed the recent murder of a Yango driver who allegedly aggressively opened the door, which caused the police officer to fall down.
The Prevention of Torture bill, introduced in 2019 by former justice minister Sacky Shanghala remains unpassed seven years later.
