Lukas Neidlein unpacks the Prostate Cancer Conference

Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers amongst men in Africa with increasing incidence over the years. Since November 2024 it’s the most prevalent cancer in Namibia according to the Cancer Association of Namibia.
This international and multidisciplinary meeting will bring together healthcare professionals, researchers, policymakers, and advocates. The conference will provide a unique platform to exchange knowledge and insights on prostate health, particularly in the Namibian and African contexts.
The first ever Prostate Conference in Namibia, which will be held in Windhoek on 15th – 17th May 2025 at School of Medicine, Hage G. Geingob campus, Windhoek, Namibia.
People Development Specialist at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) Lukas Neidlein, as part of an international Erasmus exchange, he is supporting the summit in Namibia, where he contributes as both project and program lead.
