Secretary to Cabinet, George Simataa, has announced a sweeping reshuffle of Executive Directors (EDs) across various ministries, introducing a new administrative structure where some EDs will no longer have accounting functions.
The changes have seen several EDs reassigned to new portfolios, with only Audrine Mathe (MICT) and Ettiene Maritz (Home Affairs) remaining unaffected. Additionally, the new government structure introduces a tiered system where EDs without accounting functions will report to those who retain them.
