Five suspects rob betting shop of N$37 000

The police are appealing to the public to assist them in finding five suspects who robbed employees of a betting shop near Okatana service station on Monday.
The suspects allegedly entered the betting shop, threatened employees with a knife, and took N$36 800.
The incident was reported at about 09h28, Oshana police spokesperson Thomas Aiyambo says.
“The suspects reportedly used a Honda Fit without a registration number as a getaway vehicle and fled in the direction of the Oshikuku-Oshakati-Omungwelume road,” he says.
The police are appealing to the public to report any informmation to the nearest police station.
The public is warned not to approach or confront the suspects.
