The deceased was identified as Kumana Miliko, and his next of kin have been informed of his death.
Zambezi regional police commander commissioner Julia Sakuwa-Neo told The Namibian on Sunday that the accident happened around 16h50, adding that an unlicensed driver was transporting pupils back to school when the accident occurred.
She said they were travelling from Lizauli in the direction of Sachona, and when they reached the curve, the driver saw goats crossing the road and tried to avoid hitting them.

The ages of the other victims range between 17, 18, 19, and 21. All of them were transported to Katima Mulilo Hospital,” she said.
