Taxi robberies spark fear among commuters

Reports of robberies involving taxi drivers are increasing in Windhoek and other urban areas raising concerns about commuter safety.

Police say one recent incident involved Selma Mupupa and her sister. The driver reportedly diverted them to an unknown location, where they were robbed and forced to withdraw money from their bank accounts.Authorities confirm that similar incidents have been reported highlighting growing risks for passengers using public transport.
