Shiimi says cost of living and debt pressures demand urgent action

Rising living costs, housing pressures and other economic challenges are pushing more Namibians towards debt, according to National Assembly committee chairperson Iipumbu Shiimi. He says excessive indebtedness is now affecting mental well-being, productivity and service delivery, as parliament investigates whether current lending laws offer enough protection.
