Community activist Shaun Gariseb, who joined yesterday’s protest against rape at the Katutura Magistrate’s Court, criticised the manner in which prosecutors handle such cases.
He cited a disturbing incident in which a rape suspect accused of assaulting a minor was granted bail—only to allegedly commit the same crime against another child in the community.
