Rivaldo Kavanga unpacks WHO stats that 31% of Namibian youth are addicted to tobacco products
June 16, 2025
New WHO data reveals that over 31% of Namibians aged 13 to 15 are using tobacco products — and shockingly, the vast majority are girls. At the same time, young people across the country continue to battle the grip of alcohol, often with little support or understanding.

He’s been working at the grassroots level to engage young Namibians on health, empowerment, and positive change.
