Penda Negonga eyes local wins after national setback

Last year, the Namibia Progressive Party failed to make it onto the national presidential ballot after proposing a bold N$30 million borrowing plan to settle national debts and invest in large-scale infrastructure.
With the party now registered, co-founder Penda Negonga says the vision for economic transformation remains unchanged, now focusing on implementing it through local governance.
He speaks to Desert FM on the party’s involvement in the upcoming regional council and local authority elections.
