Today marks a significant day for learners who sat for the 2024 Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate Ordinary and Advanced Subsidiary level national examinations, as the Ministry of Education prepares to announce the much-anticipated results. As is tradition, the ministry is expected to highlight this year’s top-performing learners and schools. However, not all learners will progress to tertiary education—a reality that underscores the diverse pathways awaiting them. For those stepping into university or college, a new chapter begins—one that demands adjustments to a more independent and challenging academic environment. Life beyond school also brings its own set of complexities, as learners transition from the structured routines of school life to greater autonomy and responsibility.
