Nationwide Consultations Begin on Teaching Profession Bill

Teachers’ Union of Namibia Secretary General Mahongora Kavihua says the proposed Teaching Profession Bill could restore dignity to the profession and improve education quality, but warns it must also place obligations on government and employers to ensure teachers are not left carrying the burden alone.
