Namibia’s arts industry has been shaped by the vision, sweat, and creativity of many pioneers—but too often, they’re only fully honoured when they’re no longer with us.

The National Art Gallery of Namibia (NAGN) is changing that narrative with an intimate poster showcase celebrating over 40 fabulous years of theatre productions by Sandy Rudd, one of Namibia’s most prolific theatre directors and producers.

The exhibition not only captures her bold, political and poetic work—it also reminds us why it’s vital to give flowers to our legends while they are still alive.
