Namibia Kicks Off Regional Consultations on AfCFTA

Government ministries have begun regional consultations in Zambezi, Kavango East, and Kavango West to prepare Namibia for full participation in the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). The engagements aim to empower local businesses, especially SMEs, and promote homegrown products including traditional and indigenous foods.

We were joined in studio by Asser Nashikaku, Acting Deputy Executive Director at the Ministry of International Relations and Trade, to unpack what these consultations mean for Namibian entrepreneurs and producers.
