Namibia is edging closer to seamless digital payments

Namibia is edging closer to seamless digital payments as Selcom Namibia confirms it has approval from PayPal and Mastercard to activate PayPal services locally. 

 

If implemented, Namibians will finally be able to open PayPal accounts, receive international payments and withdraw funds into local bank accounts.

 

This development could be a major boost for creatives, freelancers, small and medium-sized enterprises and online service providers who have long struggled with cross-border payments.
