Muesee Kazapua on contesting in November 2025 Regional Council and Local Authority Elections

With Namibia heading towards the Regional Council and Local Authority Elections this November, the political stage is heating up across the country. In Katutura Central, a familiar face is stepping forward. Former Windhoek Mayor Muesee Kazapua, who served in office from 2014 to 2019 and is currently with the National Youth Council, has announced his intention to contest for the constituency seat. Kazapua says community members have urged him to stand, and if elected, he plans to prioritise youth empowerment including establishing a vocational training centre for young people in Katutura Central.
