Gender-based violence continues to haunt communities across Namibia, with rural areas often suffering in silence. But in Aroab this week, residents broke that silence. They marched in protest, demanding action after the rape of a 60-year-old woman shocked the town.
One of the loudest voices in the march was Marlene Lombard.
