Kapanda Marenga discusses situation at the National Youth Council

A major legal dispute has just been resolved through a court-sanctioned settlement, which stems from the December 2024 removal of the NYC board by then sports minister Agnes Tjongarero and NYC acting executive chairperson Beverly Silas-!Garas. While that decision has now been withdrawn, the board members will not be reinstated, and the previously contested General Assembly will not be recognised.
