The Ministry of Health and Social Services has issued a new directive requiring all public clinics and hospitals to remain open and continue providing services during official working hours, with immediate effect.
This instruction comes from newly appointed health minister, Dr. Esperance Luvindao, who has introduced several measures aimed at improving service delivery across public health facilities. Among them is the implementation of rotational lunch breaks, allowing staff to take their meals in shifts to ensure uninterrupted care.
