As Namibia prepares for the crucial Regional and Local Authority Elections in November, political activity in Walvis Bay is heating up. Swapo has declared its intention to reclaim both the Urban and Rural constituencies, as well as control of the local authority  all currently under the Independent Patriots for Change (IPC).

But is the IPC ready for this political rematch? Are the promises of 2020 still holding water on the ground?
