The long-awaited upgrade of Independence Stadium in Windhoek has been delayed again, with the feasibility study still awaiting approval.
The N$3-billion project was meant to expand seating and restore the stadium to international standards, but Namibia remains without a certified venue for major sports.
African Stars chairperson Salomo Hei told Desert FM the delay continues to hurt local football and fans alike.
