Energy Fund cushions fuel price shocks but cannot sustain prolonged increases

National Energy Fund Director Anna Libana says the fund is helping cushion Namibians from rising fuel prices caused by global oil market shocks. However, she warns it can only provide short-term relief and may not withstand prolonged increases driven by international conflicts.
