Duminga Ndala unpacks key lessons from a conference on democracy was held in Zimbabwe
May 30, 2025
As the struggle for land, economic freedom, and sustainable development continues across Africa, the role of youth in shaping that future has never been more urgent. Recently, a key conference on democracy was held in Zimbabwe, bringing together young leaders from across the continent to reflect on issues of class struggle, land reform, and generational leadership. Zimbabwe’s own bold and controversial land reform programme served as a case study.
One of Namibia’s representatives at this conference was leader of the Landless People’s Movement Youth Command Duminga Ndala, who joins us to share her insights from the gathering and what it means for Namibia’s own journey toward economic justice and inclusive development.
