Our next story takes us to the Zambezi region, where the chief regional officer, Regina Ndopu-Lubinda, has once again been implicated in a major corruption scandal. Alongside Linyanti constituency councillor Ivenne Kabunga and Solo Mutelo, she faces a combined 80 counts of tender-related corruption.
The case, linked to the Zambezi Waterfront Tourism Park tender, has been transferred to the High Court due to its seriousness. This is not the first time Ndopu-Lubinda has found herself in the dock she was previously arrested in a separate N$4.7-million corruption case in 2023.
