Dâure Daman leadership dispute deepens as community rejects Sagarias Seibeb return

Tensions persist within the Dâure Daman community as members oppose former chief Sagarias Seibeb’s attempt to return to leadership after his removal over alleged financial mismanagement and internal disputes, a matter now before the courts.

Speaking on Desert FM, community member Gregory Huseb says divisions remain, with some residents questioning Seibeb’s fitness to lead while others still recognise him as the rightful traditional authority.
