On Wednesday, arriving passengers were unexpectedly sprayed with water by an airport rescue and fire-fighting officer. The incident, which quickly made the rounds on social media, sparked confusion and, let’s admit, a few jokes — but also raised questions about operational procedures and passenger safety at Namibia’s main gateway.
