Conrad Angula discusses his journey in Namibian sports

Veteran journalist Conrad Angula has recently been celebrated on social media for his contributions as a talented young footballer who represented the country and helped shape the development of Namibian football.
Before making his mark in journalism at The Namibian, Angula pursued his first passion—football. He has secured his place in the country’s sporting history as the man who gave Namibia’s national team, The Brave Warriors, their iconic name.
In addition to naming the Brave Warriors, Angula has christened several other local football teams over the years.
